Not the yellow one. :-)
Acrylic on paper, 2014 Acrylic on paper, 2014A souvenir from a few years ago, at the Lac des sept frères, in the Vérendrye Park in Quebec. We went canoe-camping for a few days. Even if I like winter, I sometimes dream of swimming in a big deep blue lake early in the morning, while the loons are singing…

Sont beaux tes oizeaux!
Merci Popa! xoxo
Heartbreakingly beautiful sound. Thank you.
I just found out that it’s called a haunting when they sing. I don’t know if this applies to all birds, but here, it’s really appropriate.
The birds are very strong, unusual and beautiful.I like the way the pair of legs balance the circle of the neck so nicely.
The picture of the mist on the lake is breathtaking.
Thank you Priya, that place was magical. And we were alone on one of the islands. I think we only saw another couple during the two-three days we spent there! We shared the lake mostly with the loons. :-)
