A walk on Mount Sutton
Work in progress…
We took a walk on Mount Sutton this weekend, which is near to our house. We must have tried at least five times to explore the “dos de l’orignal” path (moose’s back) in the past two years and we had to turn back every time: hunting season, bears’ mating season, too many people, path closed to give the flora a chance to regenerate, etc. But last Sunday, we were finally able to hike on this part of the mountain. We enjoyed the walk even more since it was our 15th anniversary!

This is my first participation at Illustration Friday!
This week’s topic is Tall.
Some people feel a bit uneasy being very tall; this moose might be one of them. Or he finds that his coat resemble long johns?
The photos above are in continuity with my sister’s Not in the woods series on Instagram. She started taking pictures of her shoes at work, someone else followed her lead and then invited me to contribute. My sister had to tell her that I actually live and work “in the woods” and that I don’t even own a pair of high heels. Anyway, I rose to the challenge but with the title Not in the city. Two down, one more to go!

At the flea market
Asleep…
The annual family reunion is over, after nine days under a beautiful and blazing sun. We ate, swam, went looking for mushrooms, drew, explored flea markets, etc.
Our place is suddenly very quiet and we are back to our usual routine!
