My sister commissioned a painting for her apartment, based on these drawings<\/a>. It’s been a while since I’ve worked on a big format<\/a> (36″ x 36″), so I had to dig out my old Liquitex bottles that were aquired in the early 90’s and test to see if I needed to update my stock.<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, most of them are still OK! Some are a bit smelly, some are a little clumpy, but workable. At first, I thought I would have to buy new colors, more to the taste of this century, but after making this color chart, I found that once mixed, the possibilities are quite interesting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
