Julie Lapointe, alias La Datcha I’m a ceramic artist based in Lanaudi\u00e8re, Quebec. <\/strong><\/p>\n Originally from northwestern Quebec, I grew up surrounded by conifer trees, rocky cliffs, and wild animals. These landscapes still live in my work \u2014 you\u2019ll often find hares, bears, foxes\u2026 and quite a few mushrooms.<\/p>\n I studied fine arts and multimedia in Montreal, and discovered pottery about fifteen years ago.
